Числові коди української державності = Numeric codes of the ukrainian statehood

Abstract

The article deals with the chronological-numerical component of the problem of the Ukrainian statehood's development. The situation in Ukraine requires an objective comprehension of national statehood, not only in the substantial-structural, but also in the temporal dimension thus ensuring selection of the perfect models for the future. The author used the following methods of scientific research: analytical, comparative-historical and chronological method. For the purpose of analyzing numerical models of historical dates the synergic method was implemented. A number of key dates which became a symbol of the Ukrainian state are essential for our research. They went on to become a certain numeric code for understanding historical processes and phenomena. «Bifurcation points» of the first level of the Ukrainian statehood are considered to be the following dates: 1199, 1648, 1919, 199, which in different variations (both explicitly and implicitly) contain the number «1» and «9». Their presence led to the existence of the four stages of the Ukrainian state: the princely, Cossack, national-democratic and modern one. By the «Bifurcation points» of the second level we mean the dates which contain the number «7» as an internal component (1169, 1349, and 1709) and symbolize the negative processes of the Ukrainian state's history. However, the changes with the numeric code «7» are not critical in nature and the elements of statehood in the form of autonomy exist over dozens of years. To the third level of «bifurcation points» the dates with the intertwining numbers «5» and «6» should be included (1569, 1596, and 1659). The events occurring at these points are inevitable in nature.
