Роль транснаціональних компаній у розвитку машинобудування України

Abstract

У статті досліджено роль транснаціональних компаній (ТНК) у формуванні машинобудівного сектору промисловості України. Визначено, що ТНК займають високу долю у виробництві продукції, забезпечені робочих місць і оплаті праці у цьому секторі промисловості, зокрема, у виробництві автотранспортних засобів, причепів і напівпричепів та інших транспортних засобів (реалізували близько половини продукції цього сектору машинобудування). Досліджено особливості діяльності дочірніх підприємств машинобудівних ТНК на території України, на основі чого визначено, що практично всі підприємства (окрім двох) працюють на толінговій основі, тобто на давальницькій сировині з подальшим експортом продукції. Проаналізовано основні показники діяльності підприємств ТНК. Зазначено необхідність регулювання діяльності машинобудівних ТНК на території України з метою збереження національних інтересів. The article examines the role of transnationals in the formation of the machine–building sector of Ukraine. It is noted that in recent years in the structure of mechanical engineering began to play an important role international corporations, which have established their subsidiaries and production units in Ukraine. Today, about 18 transnational companies are active in Ukraine. These enterprises occupy a high share in production (about 10%), in the provision of jobs (about 9% of mechanical workers) and wages (about 12%). In particular, in the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semitrailers and other vehicles, multinational companies sell about half of the products. Peculiarities of activity of subsidiaries of machine–building transnational companies on the territory of Ukraine are investigated. It is determined that these are mainly production units engaged in intermediate production. Practically all enterprises work on a tolling basis, if on toll raw materials with the subsequent export of production. Thus, almost half of the exports of mechanical engineering products (45% — in 2020) — are products made from toll raw materials. Only two companies of multinational companies sell products, both for export and in Ukraine. It is noted that multinational companies play a significant role in shaping the machine–building sector of Ukraine's industry. On the one hand, these enterprises provide jobs for employees, social benefits, staff training, which has a positive impact on the development of economic potential. On the other hand, most machine-building multinational companies use only the territorial and labor component of production (favorable geographical location and relatively cheap labor resources). However, the concentration of multinational companies in a particular type of production can threaten national interests, in particular, cause non-competitiveness of domestic industries, threaten environmental security.
