Abstract: This article describes the process of developing a fuel level measurement system model based on colored Petri nets. A comparative analysis of fuel level measurement methods and systems was carried out. The description of the measuring system based on the magneto strictive method and the algorithm of its operation are given. A model of the fuel level measurement system was built based on colored Petri nets in the CPN Tools environment. An analysis of the model was carried out. The model is hierarchical. A description of the model's operation is given. A simulation experiment was conducted. The temporal and structural parameters of the model were studied.
