Оцінка ефективності туристичної інфраструктури міста Житомир

Abstract

У статті досліджується структура туристичної інфраструктури на прикладі міста Житомир. Визначено, що місто не є мономістом, володіє туристичними ресурсами і має потенціал для розвитку туризму. Аналіз туристичної інфраструктури показав її недосконалість та обмежений ресурс, хоча треба зазначити, місто має хорошу транспортну доступність. Туристичні ресурси разом з туристичною інфраструктурою залучені українськими туроператорами при формуванні туристичного продукту, але попит на них невеликий, що підтверджує відсутність міста в рейтингах туристичних дестинацій України. Ситуація ускладняється низьким рівнем інформованості жителів міста про його туристичний потенціал. Попри наявність у місті музею космонавтики, давньої історії міста та інших чинників, мешканці Житомира не вважають своє місто унікальним. Запропоновано застосувати кластерний підхід до удосконалення туристичної інфраструктури, а також напрями підвищення ефективності її використання, зокрема, шляхом розробки туристичної навігації та мобільного туристичного додатку. The article examines the structure of tourist infrastructure on the example of the city of Zhytomyr. It is determined that the town is not a monocity, it has tourist resources and the potential for tourism development. At the same time, the availability of tourist resources does not guarantee the development of tourism in the destination. The town is able to benefit from the existing tourist potential only together with the created tourist infrastructure. The analysis of the tourist infrastructure showed its imperfection and limited resources. However, in general, the majority of accommodation facilities are located close to Zhytomyr tourist locations, which increases their attractiveness to potential tourists. Also, the town has good transport accessibility. For organized tourists, the most attractive locations are the Museum of Astronautics. S. Korolyova; Gagarin Park; Castle Hill Park. Tourist resources together with the tourist infrastructure are involved by Ukrainian tour operators in the formation of the tourism product. But the demand for resources is not big, and the lack of the town in the rankings of tourist destinations in Ukraine confirms this. The situation is complicated by the low level of awareness of city residents about its tourism potential. Despite the presence of a museum of cosmonautics, ancient history of the city and other factors, the residents of Zhytomyr do not consider that their town is unique. Local authorities are working to address this issue through the Zhytomyr Regional Tourist Information Center, established to promote and to realize the tourism potential of Zhytomyr Region. But in order to create a favorable business environment for tourism development in the destination, to attract investment and create a positive image, it is necessary to create an effective regulatory policy to optimize the activities of regional tourism authorities. It is proposed to create a tourist cluster in the town of Zhytomyr for the systematic solution of the tasks. Also, the way of improving the efficiency of tourist infrastructure using is the improvement of tourist navigation and the development of a mobile tourist application. This will simplify the search for interesting objects and show attractive tourist places in Zhytomyr to the citizens.
