| dc.description.abstract | The need to study emotional burnout in the professional sphere is related to the determination of the relationship between the features of the course of emotional and mental burnout and the gender characteristics of the individual. Carried out a theoretical analysis of the essence of the concept of stress and the relationship between stress and personality traits, the concept of professional stress, mental exhaustion and emotional burnout, gender characteristics, the phenomenological aspect of stress resistance, individual-personal factors and gender characteristics of stress. The specifics of the manifestation of stress resistance, the relationship between personality traits and professional stress, depending on gender have been investigated. The Program for the formation of stress resistance in university teaching staff in order to prevent conflicts in professional activities have been formed.
